GUILTY PLEASURE

Hmm, do I admit this or not? Yep, it's BB or to be more accurate it's Celebrity BB.Love it, never miss it and have watched every series since the start.

As much as I love Brian Dowling, I do miss Davina on Ch4 & really miss BBLB with Dermot (doesn't everyone though!) Anyway, here it is my guilty pleasure and day 14.

WHAT IS IN YOUR FRIDGE

Not a lot,need to go shopping. However mainly healthy options at the moment. So good for us (me!)

TRANSLUCENT

Yes I cheated, couldn't think what to do so moved things around and used my water photo instead. I did have some beautiful sparkly translucent webs, taken during the snow & ice last year but I cannot find them on my laptop anywhere. So have used this instead-

CLOTHING

Ok, I know it's not an item of clothing but it is something I wear & have worn for the last 32 years/35 years (well give or take a few when they didn't fit or I was pregnant) I never take them off, except for the above & have had them both made quite a few sizes larger. Anyway, I cant think of anything else I own that has lasted so long!! They are off course my wedding & engagement rings.

METAL

We were bought this for our silver wedding anniversary, I love it. Even though it is a bit top heavy and not very stable. I love the fact it isn't shiny but more of a dull metal.

WATER

Day 9 of our 365+1 challenge. Apart from a tap running or glass of water I couldn't think what else to do. So I did the usual glass of water. Woke up Saturday to a thick frost (first one of the year) and the water butt frozen. So

as I was completely stuck on photographing another word I juggled things around. And here we are- water frozen in the water butt!! Although it doesn't really look frozen

COSY

Yep, that's a good description for how he looks here. Really cosy under the 'slanket' He'd go mad if he knew I had taken this, let alone posted it here!!

So now we are up to Day 8.

WEEK ONE

All done & dusted. My plan is to (try anyway) do a digital layout each week and then have them printed at the end. So far, so good.

DRINK

Is our day 7 word. How neat & tidy is it that the month/year started on a Sunday!! My morning coffee, couldn't start the day without it.

FROST

I've struggled with this one, mainly as the weather has been so mild. Not even particularly cold up into double figures most days. Then my new boots arrived. Bought to be prepared for the frost/snow we may yet have.

Aren't they lovely, all fur lined with a slight wedge heel. I did try to wear them but my feet just got too hot! Ridiculous really in Janaury

EXCITMENT

Is our word for the day. I popped into town to do a bit of shopping and went into Tiger (love that shop!) while in there I came across these packs of foam stickers, similar to AC thickers (not quite as thick) but the best bit is they were only £1 per pack! Also got this lovely little notebook. So how exciting is it when you come across stash in the most unexpected places (only a crafter can answer that)

PRETTY

Was our 4th word and that wasn't very difficult!!

UGLY

Well this is our 3rd word. I photographed th flats that were built on the old Safeway & Bowling Alley site. They are ugly, ugly ugly. Ever since they have been built I have thought they were so out of keeping with the area, hate having to look at them every day. Each to their own I suppose.

NEW

This is our word for today @365+1

I always buy a new Christmas decoration (or two or three) every year.

This year all I bought was the XMAS word & the gold spray in the vase.

Antonette bought me the photo frame for Christmas and it just went perfectly with these. Coming down tomorrow

Our First Word is: CELEBRATE

Isn't this gorgeous? I bet it seems like a funny thing to celebrate but I bought this Poinsettia on Dec 1st and it has lasted me a whole month!! Now as houseplants (and in particular Poinsettias) always die on me within the first week or so I thought the fact this is not only still alive but flourishing was a good enough reason as any to celebrate! Lets hope it doesn't die on me now

My very 1st post!!

I thought doing a daily photo challenge would force me to take more 'everyday' shots and improve my camera skills. So doing Susie's challenge and trying to keep up with the daily prompts seem like the perfect thing to do.

I will need somewhere to hold the photos I will be taking (I hope!!) I'm also hoping that this will tie in with doing a Project Life/12 type album and so I am doing something I said I would never do start a blog!!

Anyway enough procrastinating and on with the show.
